regina you spoke my life story the past 7 1/2 years and i agree.
i decided it isn't worth it for the very same reasons,
just recently. i am just recovering myself now! as we speak.
key phrase being alcohol. and it is said that it is the symptom of a far larger problem...
lack of self love.
they won't ever love equally, because they are. incapable.
they really don't even love themselves, and if you try to fill THAT void, and be a steady person in their life, even maybe, you really ARE their best, most concerned frirend----
it will never take away the disease, because it has to come directly from them.
turn arounds are rare.
they won't turn around, if you stay there.
