Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Hmmmm.....
Well if all else has failed....
I think it's a pretty nifty 'trick' if you will ^_^
She is unable eat solid foods so lives on soup and ice cream, I have told her multiple times to have the surgeon loosen the band and she won't. She is afraid if she can eat regular food she will put the weight back on.
She plateaued a couple of years ago at about 30-40 pounds from her goal and she will never reach it by eating creamy soups and ice cream.
Just make sure you get a good surgeon and go to the support group they send you to after. Oh and I just remembered that they make you do a physiological exam from a psychiatrist before they will consider you as a pt.
all the best
