Last night I was looking out my window after my partner and I had the same old discussion about how I want to make love and she doesn't, everytime I feel rejected, broken, ugly, and scarred. I get more angry and resentful and not even the small things can make me smile. So now today I sit in here in the house, and she is outside angry and hurt raking...because I wanted to talk about feelings.
whats the point anymore to talk about feelings, when all they are is one sided grief stricken anger pulling the couple out of sorts: and then you think "maybe she would be happier if she didn't have to deal with my bulshit on a daily basis" "she gets irritated if I talk to much, shit I have bipolar disorder, im gonna talk, she gets irritated if try try try... I have to be going to therapy and a psychiatrist and it took her years to admit she need prozac...
I understand I have hurt you, many times, yet you chose to stay; maybe its just karma having its way with me...you can be with the one you love like in the same home as her sleep in the same bed but you just can ever make love to her... my mind goes more often than none to i bet she would make love to a different woman who hadn't fucked her over so many times...maybe I should give her the opportunity...

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

You wrote that all of the feelings are one sided and grief stricken... I doubt when a 'couple' is involved it's all one sided...
I'm playing devil's advocate here and I don't want to make you feel worse just some food for thought... Laying a guilt trip on someone can make them feel very defensive and ready to lash out
I also think if there's ongoing anger a person seldom is interested in sex... Perhaps it's physical as Sadie wrote
A therapist could help the two of you communicate in a healthier way and perhaps both of you could get your needs met
I hope you find some peace soon...x
Why continue to beat yourself...up?
sex is not the say all in a relationship...but the feelings you are having about being rejected ARE.
I can say no to my partner and he can say no to me...but I do not feel any of those rejection emotions. I just laugh and say WTF..your not on the same page...or he just goes on with his day..and never makes me feel like I have crushed him for saying no to sex.
Cause we have much more than sex in common.,we have family..kids..problems that are similar...so we excuse the put off for sex.
I don't think in my opinion if I constantly felt...degraded and useless that I could continue in the relationship...It may be harder being a lesbian and thinking maybe there are less opportunities? But that should not hold you back from being the best you can be..and loved to the fullest.
He is constantly asking me to make love and between meds and an awful bladder disease, it can be terribly painful for me. Something that works for us is if he is interested but I'm not, I can help him without having intercourse and he typically gives me a back rub.
What I'm trying to say is that intimacy isn't all about sex. But if you've lost intimacy in your relationship, it might be a good idea to sit down and discuss your relationship's future.
I hope you find what works best for both you.
