I really wanna hear what you guys think. Personally I feel if it's a band like those people with certain medical conditions wear in case they're unconscious and need medical attention then that's not so bad. Just a regular bracelet with your diagnostic code on it, that I'd go with. Something colour specific on the other had is gonna have us dealing with some serious discrimination and attacks. It might start a conversation and give us the opportunity to educate someone but I highly doubt that will happen very often.

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I would, however, readily agree to wearing a large mood ring. To give people a 'heads up'.
:/
Less said about them, the better! :)
Nice thought though...I'M NOT DOWN ON THAT ON GIRL...;0)
However if this was to be seriously taken into consideration and "implemented" than I would have a wonderfully decorated arm w/all the different labels! lmao
Shit we cant even ask for people to show i.d to vote but hey lets out the freaks of society! F ridiculous.
ugh ok rant over. For now.
Label outside medical history so if heaven forbid something happens whomever is helping will find it. Update your prescriptions and said details.
Have pdocs number and reg. medical doc etc...
My husband actually kept his own notebook and when I had my "blip" and seizures he just gave the paramedics the book to see my current history. They told him how helpful it was and they wished everyone would have their info handy.
So all kidding aside having history is important but literally wearing it on my sleeve not so much!
I get the feeling she was probably actually trying to help but expressed it badly.
"Her comments were met with outrage."
So I guess the answer from the UK is this isn't going to happen and people generally feel it's insulting.
My hubby and I both have my drug list on our phones. Any I always have my phone with me as does he.
I can't imagine bracelets visible to everyone that make the mentally ill stand out like sore thumbs. NOT OK in my book.
