Please don’t harm yourself!!! You are worth so much. If you won’t think of your own well being, think about your family. Won’t they be so torn apart if you hurt yourself?! Call a crisis line. There are other jobs out there for you you are worth more than a job

There are a lot of jobs to be had.... Once you find some stability you'll find the right job for you.... I don't think that there is a perfect personally ....... There will be another job though

Is there such a thing as a perfect job? In general, there are reasons somebody has to pay me to do it. I have to pay for perfection and even then, my "perfection" is somebody else's imperfect job.

I noticed you said "perfect" job. There is no such thing as a "perfect" job. Take my example, I am 45 college educated. I had all the chances in the world. I blew them all. I was either just stupid, or mentally not prepared. I wanted to get back into graphic design. I like photography. But well, things have not happened for me in the job department.

I currently accepted an offer to work in a warehouse. Yes, at 45 I will attempt manual labor again. I imagine it will be highly repetitive. I am kinda sad, but glad that I have a chance to earn some money. I am thankful my eyesite is pretty good (to read the labels or whatever). I don't need glasses (yet). I am also thankful I can walk alot. I have no physical limitations.

Please look at the positives. Many people identify with jobs. I know I do. But any honest work is noble imho. Whatever job you land. Just throwing this out there. I hope that you will be ok.

I'm sorry if things are really bad for you right now! I don't know if this helps or not, but I have tried to commit suicide before, and it's never worked. Trust me you don't want to go through that, or I'm sure put your family in any kind of pain. I obviously don't know you, but I'm sure a great person with a lot to offer, and on the job front I'm sure there is no such thing as the perfect job. Please don't end your life tonight!!! And if you think no one cares, that's true because I care and I don't even know you!

I just got off the phone with my psychiatrist and he made me promise to go to sleep and call him in the morning to see how I feel then. Thanks for your support.

Glad you are going to talk with your doctor. I find that talking always helps. No one can make it alone. Yes, get some sleep, that will help. :-)

The only perfect job I know about is one that I can perform without becoming unduly stressed and that will pay for my upkeep.
My idea of "ending things" is to finish the book I"m reading then having some ice cream b e fore going to bed and getting the good sleep that will help me to meet the tomorrow that is another day. To me self-harm is not the answer to life's frustrations, not that I never considered it but that now I do not. I wish you peace.

You certainly and absolutely have our love and support. You are NOT alone! You did not mention, but are you in the middle of a med-change? I know that when the meds are out of balance, life can be horrifically challenging. Reaching out to your doctor is awesome and brilliant.
