my creativity is exploding every which way it can i am heat embossing to make cards for the craft club even though we do not meet people still have birthdays sickness death even with this virus



i am feeling and acting hypomanic and am bordering on mania which i dread i can lose everything i have managed to buile but that is something that i cannot control



learning dot paing making mandalas coloring painting anything my mind can think of scary really but so much fun to take a piece of wood or paper and create something is a high in itself



since i cannot take any other meds i have to just control myself and be aware of anything dangerous



othefwise feeling great no doc visits in person but there it is do not want to go anyway so we meet on the phone 



will this high progress i order a lot from amazon controled now i had a food dlivery from shoprite a grocery store andf completly forgot and ordered the next day lol luckily the money was there but to forget an ordered has me worried enough for now

Bywena - I hope you feel more centered. Mania is alluring because you feel so good and you can do so much with your mind. The endless energy and just speeding up of everything. I’ve been there. Stay centered.

Agree with Thor. Try to focus on staying centered. Enjoy the ride but be aware of the danger zone. You know what those are for you. Reach out to your doctor. You say you cannot take other meds. Don't know your situation but what you are taking now is not working. I hope you have a good doctor. That can make a huge difference! Like they say. "What do you call a medical student at the bottom of his class? Doctor."

Kay Redfield Jamison wrote a. Book called TOUCHED WITH FIRE about bipolar and the artistic temperament. I have most of her books. You have been like you describe for a while now. I’m surprised you haven’t ended up in the hospital. What is going on with your meds?

I hope you find your center. Summer time is manic time for me and I know all too well how it starts off feelOmg good...great even...until it’s not. The rush of energy, the melody that plays in my mind, the warm feeling in my chest, the cheery optimism to where good ideas become great ideas...then it crosses over. You no longer feel the need to sleep. The blowing of the money (I love to shop and Amazon can get me in trouble), the grandiose beliefs (you just know you were CHOSEN by a higher power for great things), the good ideas that became great ideas turned out to not even being good to start out with, the optimism turns into irritability, believing in things that aren’t true...we have so much to look out for. i am used to this
have not been fully manic for years and or suicidal
keeping an eye out for any new symptoms but for now it is a good feeling and it is probably will stay that way for a couple of days and down again then back up lol a roller coaster and a half thanks for your input and for caring i will be fine

You are a super creative (and talented!) individual - it’s great you can focus the mania on your creativity. I know you’ve also talked about the overspending on materials though and that’s where the mania can make trouble. Check in with your doctor if you can. I’ve been on many meds in the past that stifled creativity but not all of them do! It’s a wonderful thing to be creative but also important to stay healthy when manic and have good sleep habits so your brain can rest and reset. Or drop-in (now virtual) support groups in your area to connect with others who understand this illness. Supportive hugs your way.

Seems like mania to me by just reading your thoughts and actions. There are so many meds. Not sure what you can’t take but hope there is something to get control of your thoughts and emotions.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
