I like the idea of having separate categories on the board, but I think we should have them tabbed so we an go back and forth, what do you all think? if you agree I'd like to set up a petition for Doug, for that's the only way they'll know what we want is for us to ask :)

he posted a topic recently asking just that question...personally, I think it would make it more complex and just another thing to have to click in and out of...I like to K.I.S.S. -

I agree - I think for example - the newbies forum should be attached to our forum. Because I am lucky I posted in the discussion forum first. I may never have met you wonderful people if I hadn't.
So - I agree and would sign a petition. Especially for the newbies.

exactly. I don't have a problem with any of the posts, but too many are popping up in the general catagory that should be in on of the others because we all know it's likely not to get looked at.

I think that the Advice, New Member and OT posts should appear in one place, but with different icons to the left of the post to let you know what's what. Then everyone sees it, but if you're looking for one topic to chat in, you simply look at the icon on the left.

That way, no tabs, no backtracking and no one feels the need to wrongly catagorize the post just to be seen.
