Will and I recently bought a car and had to pay the taxes, registration, full cov insur etc etc. Rain here in Maine all week.. overcast, grey skies blah blah blah. No turkey on our table this Thankgiving.. and he has to work.
Is that going to get me down? Nawwwwwww... because Sunday will be bright and sunny and although Thursday is Thanksgiving it is payday and we can buy our turkey on Thanksgiving Day lol and I'll cook it up on Sunday so we're going to eat and relax then. Maybe a movie later that night... Just have to add that every day is a day to be thankful. I'm thankful for my beautiful family, my lovely friends, and for the warm winter stockings and my handmade blanket.

I'm praying for those in need that God give them good health, the strength to overcome limitations and supply them with love this holiday season.

Good for you, Sharon. I am cooking at my house. Having my mom and dad over and a friend or two. This will be the first Thanksgiving that my parents have been under the same roof since I was a kid. Kinda looking forward to it if daddy don't chicken out!! LOL.

I'm glad it's going to work out for you this Thanksgiving. I can't imagine what that's like because I still live with my parents. We are having Thanksgiving here, my mom is cooking, and my brother is coming home from Manhattan and my other brother and my sister and her family are coming over. Oh my grandparents too, and my mom's friend and her husband. It's going to be a full house and I'm a little nervous.

We go to my husband's family. I like going early to help cook. This year I wish I didn't have to go, just not looking forward to it.

Ginormous feast at my parent's house on Turkey day. Then on Friday, a small gathering of my husband's family. Some kind of Omaha steak dinner meal his cousin got.

That day I have to wear a mask. I can do it. For my husband I'd do anything. Should be a good day Thursday. I love Thanksgiving.

Because of my grandma's work schedule and my brother's custody agreement, my family can't get together on Thanksgiving. So, we are celebrating on Sunday the 28th. We have three turkeys..lol. It's going to be a HUGE dinner. I love it and can't wait to see all of my extended family.

I, too, am praying for those in need this year. The Lord has truly blessed me these past few years that I was in need while I was waiting on my disability to be approved. And now that it's been approved, I've been REALLY blessed with the first installments of backpay. I know that God always takes care of His children. And I know that He is faithful. Let us all remember to thank the Lord for the blessings He has bestowed upon us.

We are going to my brother's house for Thanksgiving. It will be a full house, lots of people and kids and I am a little nervous about such a big crowd. However, I am going to make the best of it and be thankful that I have my family to celebrate with.

This is my 1st thanksgiving alone, without my mom, and my daughter. i am choosing to spend the day working. Picking up an extra shift, doing anything so I don't have to spend it alone....
