I live in a quite home. I don't have the tv even hooked up and no radio, just the internet. I asked the Pdoc and she said stimulation of some sort. Does anybody have any suggestions?

If you have internet, I assume you have a computer or lap top ?

how about listening to some music?... online or if you have a CD disk drive just pop one in and listen away

Is there something you'd like to learn how to do? Maybe knitting, sewing, painting, anything really - there are youtube videos you could watch to learn

reading - one of the best stimulations there is!
or writing - just as good! Just freewrite whatever comes into your head for about 10mins during the day and then read over it and see if any particular item leaps out at you and expand a little on that. initially if you can't think of anything to write, write that and if the walls are blue, write that and so on until you get into the swing of it. you'll be writing reams in no time at all and fascinated by the things you will unveil!

Oh thanks everybody on those suggestions. They are great! Baby steps for me. I was wondering if anybody knew my actual problem with the stimulation thing. I can't even listen to the news. Drives everybody bonkers. Does anybody share that problem too? Sorry, wrote it wrong. :(

That would be something to talk to a Psychiatrist to talk about and diagnose.

There are many stimulus related disorders and they can have to do with something along the Autism Spectrum or Avoidant Personality Disorders. There are many different types and varieties of these disorders. There are also hearing and vision disorders that have Stimulus issues.

Its really something that you'd need to talk to your Pdoc about as you'd need testing to decide what exactly was going on.
