or writing - just as good! Just freewrite whatever comes into your head for about 10mins during the day and then read over it and see if any particular item leaps out at you and expand a little on that. initially if you can't think of anything to write, write that and if the walls are blue, write that and so on until you get into the swing of it. you'll be writing reams in no time at all and fascinated by the things you will unveil!
There are many stimulus related disorders and they can have to do with something along the Autism Spectrum or Avoidant Personality Disorders. There are many different types and varieties of these disorders. There are also hearing and vision disorders that have Stimulus issues.
Its really something that you'd need to talk to your Pdoc about as you'd need testing to decide what exactly was going on.
