does any one else get splitting head aches from tegretol?

I'm about to stop taking it because I just can't take the head aches any more!

I just looked up the med.

It says if you have continuing head aches to contact your Pdoc

No, it doesn't give me headaches. I get headaches from menstrual cycles, dehydration and muscle tension, but not from Tegretol. I hope you feel better, dk.

I can't contact my pdoc till monday but I have cut back already today and I may stop it tomorrow. I can't take these head aches any more. advil doesn't stop them.

Yeah I know my pdoc she already hates me because I am a royal pain in the butt. I keep taking stuff she told me to stop and I basically do what ever I want I never listen! But I sure do call her all the time when I need something! Which has been once a week now.

She deserves it though for making me take blood tests constantly! I hate blood work.

It works well for me with few side effects... I dont know how long you've been on it but it's a med you have to slowly with draw as you can seizure if you go off too quickly..I hope you feel better soon...x

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
