Has anyone experienced tactile hallucinations? (Hallucinations that you feel) When I was in the hospital, I felt the hand of someone choking me, and I couldn't breathe. I didn't tell anyone because I didn't think they would believe me.
Just now I came out of a dream because I thought I felt the gentle rub of my husband's hand on my ear, and I was going to ask him why he was home from work so early. But there was noone. Of course we can all dream this way, but...
I'm not sure what to do if I feel the hand again. I'm not convinced that the nurses would even know what the different kinds of hallucinations there are let alone what to do about them. What would/do you do?

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

Good luck!
Iv read where people either hear thier name being called and no one spoke thier name or they smell things like thier Grandma kitchen did but thier not at Grandma's. Iv heard story such as young man trying to get bugs off his self and he believed that he could feel them crawling on him.
Natural high verse effects of lsd.
Could of hung out with flowerchildren on natural high and fit right in,lol, or tolerated a drunk guy who buying drinks for his buddy and no one is setting in chair next to the drunk.
Ya, I would get my meds adjusted and/or get myself to hospital.
My AP's take care of it. I would go ahead and tell them. If there's a name for it- they've heard of it.
I felt my grandmothers hand waken me once when l fell asleep without saying my prayers as l always did and she woke me by rocking me awake, l felt her hand on me knew it was her and could feel my body moving. l quickly opened my eyes saw the room still moving and her hand left me straight away...my grandmother had been dead for years at that time, no way was l afraid it comforted me.
Very strange.
Now I am going through medication changes and yes they are back. I would talk to your Psydoc about it. hugs You are not alone.

Sometimes we think that we are having exclusive thoughts and experiences.May be true.
It's up to you to see what you can live with and what you can impart to others.
For instance, I have had the full insects crawling from my eyes and stuff. You have to tell people so they can assure you.
If you don't, then they can miss an important step in deciding yr best meds etc...and have difficulty in making the right decisions at another point in yr illness.
You have to be honest to yourself about yr own shortcomings too.
If I had a drink or took drugs on top of the meds , then I'd try and 'account' for it..
You only have to be responsible to yourself in order for those you love around you to feel the benefits too.
All the best to you.I personally would just try and tell the relevant people. In a twisted way, I deserved those tactiles.
Bipolar folk. Have been use to not telling people what is really happening to themselves that not disclosing the truth seems second nature.
We are all worried about how other people see us. That we try to get them to think we are normal or not so bipolar that wee keep some of these experiences secret.
The other part about being honest about drug use and diet are important as well.
Its your treatment plan and the best way to get treated is to give them all the info.
