I posted yesterday that my husband was having a weird reaction to his new meds that I just dont understand ( Zitrasidone, Gabapentin). The doctor told us to stop the meds and go see him today. Well last night he didnt take the meds but he still had an episode of crazy. He states that he doesnt remember anything that happened once he thought he fell asleep. You see, he goes to bed at 10pm, at least he thinks. The reality is he stays awake. He becomes restless and he keeps me awake by continuous telling me that he loves me and that hes sorry. Last night I had to get after him and tell him to just go to sleep and he responded with "geez why are you so mad at me". He's not hostile, hes just annoying. Anyway, he finally fell asleep around 2 am and stayed asleep. What concerns me is that by the morning when he wakes up he has no memory of what happened. He wakes up normal and functions through out the day normal. This behavior has been going on for 3 days now. Its weird! He has never been this way before. Do you guys think its something with the meds they prescribed? Do these effects just come on suddenly? What questions should I ask the psychiatrist when we see him today?

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
