We're all getting together and hubby is making pork chops. I'm a vegetarian so my friend is making me a caprisi (sp?) salad - YUM!

I love lasagna. I keep saying I'm gonna make it but I never have the time. Bf and I are going out for ice cream and cheesecake later. Yaay for everlasting summers. Lol. Happy grilling Spacekat and Sun, just put on some Italian music and pretend that frozen lasagna came right out the oven.

I love home made lasagna... and I make a good one if I say so myself... My landlord/roomie bought a frozen one and I don't care for them much at all

Ice cream and cheesecake ... My two favourite food groups...lol

I'm not a fan of cheesecake but i've been craving it for a few days now. Think I'll go for a chocolate cheesecake since chocolate is my favourite food group ;-)

Just reading your post is putting on the pounds on my hips! I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of everything because I see the Dr. tomorrow and the weigh in is sooooo depressing to me. How to weigh less is what I need now...LOL

I've done a full day shift at work, went to Karate for two hours & then had a sunday roast. Used Quorn meat instead of chicken because I'm a vegetarian. Going to do some Yoga/Meditation, then I'm going to read a book in bed & then go to sleep ready for my shift at work tomorrow.

Is the weight a side effect of the meds? The rain is pouring so no chocolate date for me :-(

We always did that at home (because I live in tha SOW-th, haha) - big mid-day Sunday meal, then Nothing for the evening meal. (everyone too full)


Here in my neck of the woods, the Big meal is called "dinner"; many days you don't Have a 'big meal' so it's just lunch or supper. Doesn't matter which meal, if it's Big it's Dinner. (Northerners get confused about those terms, but they also make fun of it, so it balances out) :D

I remember some folks laughing at a conversation I had w/a girlfriend after we went out to a restaurant one evening: We were parting ways outside and she said "Wait - was that dinner or supper?" I had to remind her, "No, it's only Supper if you had Dinner for Lunch."

Lol. It's pretty much the same here. And we often call breakfast 'tea' in the rural areas cos tea is the main part of breakfast. Oh, I have to brag about my veggie salad. It was divine. Carrot, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce all coated in an awesome june plum ginger sauce (the liquid bit of my candied june plums from the other night ;-D)

We had a big ass "dinner" here too MA. Roast beef with veggies, mac&cheese,cornbread and apple crumb pie. If we are still hungry later we will eat left-overs on Sundays.

I've been cleaning, Had a long talk on the phone with an old friend, and watched the most depressing movie with my mom. The only upside to it was Mark Ruffalo played in it!

You just made my dinner look like lunch! Lol. What's the name of the movie? Let's see if I'll make it through the first minute without bursting into tears.

I had life cereal and toast for dinner lol. I've just be laying around all day watching tv.

@Nester- you have given me a new craving. I'm about to go through the cupboard to see if I have what I need to make some cornbread.It's been a while since I had any. I usually grate some cheese in it or add sweet corn.

@Reds, I have had so many cereal dinners it's hilarious. Ice cream is also a good dinner. With tears and a soft blanket. Whatcha watching?
