Sorry folks just an anxiety attack from being stung

lol, well, at least it was an anxiety attack and not something life threatening.

I was worried about you and started a response which was interrupted by grandchildren. I hope your panic attack has subsided now.

My mother's remedy was always - meat tenderizer. Pour some in your palm and couple drips of water, just enough to make a paste. Make sure the stinger out. Don't tweezer it, that squeezes more poison into your system. Scrap it with your fingernail in the direction it went in. Then put the meat tenderizer paste on it. The tenderizer breaks down the poison in the same way that it breaks down meat.

Hubby's remedy - One time a hornet as big as a car stung me and we were in the car. OMG!! PAIN!! He wet tobacco from a cigerette and put the wad on the sting = instant relief.

This is just for your future reference. I know it's too late to help today. The sooner you do the remedies, the better result you will get.

Glad you made it through that ordeal. Bee stings (wasps & hornets) are nasty.

We use Accent (meat tenderizer) paste too BB. Listen to your mama!!

Our current hired man is highly allergic to stings so we have Epipens in all the trucks, tractors, equipment and the shop. He's kinda a needle weenie but I'm not bashful about stabbing him. Twice so far this year.

I am highly allergic and both my girls are partially - At the moment you are stung make mud out of whatever dirt and water is handy and pack it onto the site of sting - make sure you get the stinger out first if it is still in you leave mud on until it drys pick it off and repeat one more time. Always keep benadryl in the house and use at the first of being stung and if necessary follow up with epipen - everyone should have one in their house whether they are allergic or not

Many quick home meds here, I prefer wet baking soda paste. Any of the ones listed here work though. They suck the poison out.

I'm allergic to bee stings as well.

The last time I was stung, it was on my right thumb.....my whole arm swelled up to my shoulder.

Every time you get a bee sting , the reaction is more intense

So I am very careful, and a bit paranoid too , about bees ....I completly understand your anxiety
