Well I wasn't alwayls an out of control manic depressive. I did however have a very serious condition impeding my development from a child to an adult. When I was eight, and I was not at this time exhibiting any sighns of biloar illness, I was exposed to serveral older teenagers and sexcually abused me. Then once I was 11 I had an even more severe sexually absive relationship. These weere all with other boys as I wouldn't call them men yet. But there was quite an age difference. I kept this all a secret for 30 years but finally it started to crack into my phychy. After a suicide attempt I got some therapy and worked through that until I was able to put this all behind me. So I say that therapy works and I am living proof. The fact that I am so okay with my past as to post it on a public bulliten board is proof of that. So keep doing that therapy it does help.
Now for my bipolar illness...for that I need meds and haven't concurred it yet. Thak's for listening, strange the things you rant on about late at night. Oh by the way, my family, Parents, were very supportive of my therapy.

So glad to hear your family was supportive of your Therapy.....too many families go into denial mode when they hear stories of sexual abuse.....Like a kid would make that shit up ???????
