I had been taking my medications as I should for a while but I had a really good stretch of feeling good. So between that and realizing how much weight I have gained recently, I panicked and stopped taking my meds. Now I'm fairly certain I'm in a manic phase and not sure what to do. I know I'll have to start all over with the lamictal. For the most part I feel good but sometimes I am noticing I am getting too reckless. There's so much on my mind I'm having trouble getting it all out. Then I wonder if I should of been mood charting so I could of seen this coming. I just don't know what to do.

Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.

Call your pdoc asap. I know the weight gain is frustrating but instability is worse. Mood charting is a great idea too.
Good luck with getting back in balance. :)
But really, taking the meds a long time - let us get stable....
I think of going off my meds at the Best times and the Worst times - is natural, to admit I have a better life on them, than off? That take constant reminding..
Call pdoc - you might have to take different, or since your have none in your system (white wash) you might be able to try different, maybe something without such weight issues...
White wash or starting over has Great Benefit - well, since you fucked up : ) Take the good with the bad, but get help ASAP, you can get worse, and that makes the whole game Harder....
:)
I hope things come under control for you soon..x
seroquel and zyprexa are major weight gainers for most people.
Try to talk t your doctor about a cocktail that has minimal weight gain.
My pdoc wont see me if I stop takig my meds and then I would have to start all over to find a new doctor and have the new one decide which meds HE wants to put me on.
I have been taking meds so long I truly hate them, I have about 20 days a year where I feel creative. I cant read more then 3 pages a month. TV is my big pass time.
I go to the gym and normally am on a maintenance diet that is mmonotous.
But I don't try to kill myself, I dont say filthy dirty words to sales people and friends and family and pp at church. I dont load up my 2 credit cards. And I dont pick up men and have sex 7 times a week. So I volunteer and just try to get along.
These are just my opinions.
Hugs to you
Best of luck to you!!! Hope you get to feeling better
