My life continues to be in a "stalled" pattern. I am grateful that I have a temp job, but because I am making $10 an hour I now make "too much money"to qualify for Medicaid. So I have to go on the affordable plan which will cost me $95 a month and I will have to pay $10 a month per prescription. I am on like 15 things. I am financially (!@&$d. I have been at this temp job for two months now and last week had an interview with the head cheese. She was very vague about what what the possibilities for my career there would be. In the meantime, I have been looking for permanent work. I don't know HOW I am managing to function. The second I get home, I don't want to leave. I literally go into hiding. I haven't gone out or bathed at all since Friday. I slept all day Today. I haven't been to swim laps in weeks. I have gained back half of what I lost (20 pounds). I am supposed to be working on my online class and am struggling badly. I am really wish I could die in my sleep. I feel SO alone. I just wish I had someone to sit with me and comfort me but I have no one. All my family does is make me feel even worse by telling me to "cheer up". I just do not see it getting better anytime soon. I am sorry I am so negative. I am struggling badly.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

On weekends I used to manage to go out, but like you seem to be doing, I stayed inside this entire weekend. I find myself sleeping more and more...also just hiding inside.
I hate how the "affordable" health care act messed everything up...ugh.
It is a crappy economy though I feel and good jobs are scarce it seems. Its not your fault. Just writing to say I understand. Try to fight through the depression. Something may come along when you least expect it...
TC, no one could handle all of that at once. It's just too much on top of too much. Try to break it down into small steps by priority. I would start with the meds. Ask your doctor for samples, apply for aid on your prescriptions. Some of the drug companies will help you out with that. I think the rest will fall into place if you don't have to worry about your medications.
I know - easier said than done but you have to start somewhere.
I'm wishing you the best.
I can't close without saying, maybe you should consult with your doctor about a med adjustment. Something to help the anxiety and depression.
Wanting to hide away is understandable. That's just a reaction we have to these stressors sometimes. When I feel like this I try to pick 1 thing I can do each day - shower or bath, brush my teeth, get out of bed, etc. Just 1.
supportive (((hugs))) for you TC
It went from awful to realllly awful. Now I am being told by my temp job that I have to work at an office that will require me to drive a 40 mile radius and they are REFUSING to pay mileage! When I tried to explain to my boss that I honestly don't have the extra money for gas, he got realllly shitty with me. I have been having thoughts of accidentally giving myself too much insulin. My process is trying to get me help with a few of my rxs.
I am hopeless.
(((((hugs))))) to you
