But I also have to remind myself that this is the way that I am. And that my husband has the right to leave. Instead he waits out the bad and helps me through it so that we can move onto the good. Is you GF supportive of you having BP? And why exactly do you feel that she would be better off with you?
We all take the ones we care about for granted. We become so accustom to them being there and doing for us that we get comfortable. It take a lot to realize that though. It shows that you have good character to know that you take her for granted. It means that you know she is not a given in your life. It means that you care for her deeply and only want her to have the best. So don't fret over it. I know that you and her can work through this and make the most of the time you have together!

You don't Have to see it all the time. Promise. Right now you can't see anything of value in yourself, but other times you do, even if you hate yourself for seeing anything!
Take it on Faith, my friend, and keep walking. You are an Incredible person. :)
Keep holding on and be aware that ... although you may see otherwise, your heart is good and your will is strong.
Love is a messy thing, and we tend to loose sight sometimes.
Dont beat yourself up for things you might have said or done in the past. Even if it was an hour ago. Turn the leaf and make a stand.

try and see what your friends and partner see in you, and fight these feeling as hard as you can.
the booze makes it easier to make huge, and sometimes fatal mistakes.
