I got some good news today. I went to hand in my job search papers at the career center. Well I explained to the lady I had my med deferral form filled out and she asked me where is it. I told her I am giving it to my case worker like you told me to. She claims she never told me that ok Iknow what she told me. So anyway now I have to drop off the forms to my case worker and she has to fax the paperwork to the career center. So I did all that job search nonsense for nothing and all that agravation for nothing grrrrr made me mad. So anyway I get excused from the work program for 1-2 years from what my doctor says for now. We will see what things are like in that time. That is one pressure load off of me now Thank you Lord.:)
Does anyone else find that you get treated differently when people find out you have a mental illness? I do. Also people tend to look down on you because your not working and that pisses me off to no end. grrrrrr.Well one thing a t a time. Hope everyone is doing ok tonight. I am feeling ok just have a headache tonight a little anxious.

I haven't noticed being treated differently for having a mental illness but actually, I haven't shared it with anyone outside my family. My sorority sisters know I've struggled in the past but extending love and support in that group doesn't depend on complete disclosure. We respect each other's privacy to a certain degree.
I had never sensed that anyone looked down on me for not working for someone else. (We're self-employed farmers and I have rental properties in town.) I do suspect my sisters-in-law are jealous that I don't have to answer to anybody. They have both been teachers for nearly 30 years.
Just keep doing what you need to do Kitty!!
