So I just saw my p doc today and explained my breakdown last week where I wanted to be admitted. He agreed with my t doc and said my anxiety and depression are caused by my fear of my physical problems. He is upping my trazodone and tried to assure me as long as I'm sleeping I should feel better. I really thought he'd prescribe something else. I'm trying acupuncture tomorrow. So frustrated.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm not trying to doubt my p doc I've been seeing him for 8 years but I can't stop my waves of depression and anxiety and anger right now. I understand that why I'm anxious and depressed but I can't get passed it myself right now.
I'm seeing my t doc once a week right now which definitely helps. It's just frustrating though both my t doc and p doc told me to try to relax, enjoy the holidays, bake some cookies, etc. I feel like I couldnt even concentrate on following a recipe right now.
I have depakote prescribed by my neurologist for migraine prevention and he told me it wouldn't hurt me if I took that along with the trazadone. I never started the depakote because my migraines haven't been bad lately. I guess I just expected a lot more from my visit today because of how much I'm currently struggling.

only downside is that all pervasive anxiety when there isn't any reason can sometimes be low level hypomania - and lamotrigine is a little weaker there. I take seroquel at those times but I only need to take it for a few days.
