I have always been an on again off again smoker.
Smoked for 10 years at about 20 cigarettes a day, then quit for 10 years.
Started after that for just over 2 years (about 10-12 a day), quit for a year and a half.
Then smoked again for about 3 months at about 2-3 cigarettes a day.
Now I've not been smoking for close to a year, but strongly have the urge to start again.
I've always liked smoking for the relaxation it gives me, but fear the lung outcome.
Trying really hard not to smoke one of my b/f's cigarettes!

I'm back at school and last year had intense biology. Some cancers are very slow growing....you can have it for 10 years or more before the signs show. Cancer is so scary the way it fuses itself and tricks your body into thinking nothing is wrong. that is why usually the cancer is found too late.
It was nice to hear.
I quit, 30 years is a long time to contribute to the fat cats of the Tobacco Industry without a pension !
