Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though. I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Quick, before the evil MONday gets here! Let's climb those mountains, dance in the meadows, dip our feet in the ocean....Okay, so most of us won't be doing any of That. Sadly. But today can still be a great day!The area behind our back fence is on an incline, with less than two feet on even ground at the top. I don't balance well enough for the incline, but our mower guy mows that...

I do tend to go find stuff at the Dollar Store before I go to Michael's when I'm looking to stock up on crossword puzzle books, or color books, sudoku, art stuff, etc. I can usually find comparable stuff for a $1, compared to the $5 - $15 I'd spend at Michael's.
I do draw the line at my Drawing Pencils, Colored Pencils and Writing Pens, I'm picky when it comes to those and only use 2 brands and they come from Michael's. It has to be Prismacolor or Staedtler. I tend to only get them about 3 times a year though so its not too bad.
I think my new hobby is going to be learning how to write in Calligraphy, so we'll see how that goes. Its something I've been interested in a while, but I'm not sure if my hands will cooperate, so I'll start with a small investment and see how it goes. When I write I rarely do it on the computer, I'm one of those weirdo's who thoroughly enjoys taking a very well constructed pen and paper and writing....drives my boss nuts sometimes. lol
i use prismacolor too when i do coloring and only if i can find them on sale i use my own garbage jars plasric containers etc picking up someone elses does not sound appealing even at the thrift store
Going inpatient isn’t always fun but many have art therapy and expressive therapy groups and it’s a good way to participate as meds stabilize. Establishes routine again. Your projects are so lovely - I think being able to talk about the process with a therapeutic group would be so valuable for you!
