ya its important ta keep movin. in my deep depression it was horrible. then i found it ta be myself creatin a habit. just layin around i got complacent & lazy.
we all know depression isnt laziness. its the hardest part of the illness. find ur happy place if ya can & focus on that :)
All I know is that reading the Bible, and going to a Non Denomination Church has helped me to cope.
Another thing I do is a hobby. I Metal Detect. I hunt for lost items in the dirt. Hobie's that make you concentrate on them and loose touch with your issue can really make a difference.
Also do you or have you tried to Journal? I do and it helps me also. Sometimes I rant, Other times I talk about my issue. Heck I even talk to my Mom who passed recently.
I wish you all the best. God Bless You.
Its so hard to figure out why these things are happening. I also have had 4 pretty bad concussions. Once a double concussion and went into seizures from my brain swelling that was 25 years ago. Sometimes I just cry and cry maybe something sad maybe not. I was diagnosed Bi-polar in 2005, I think the concussions might have played a part in that as well as my genes. My Dad & Brother are both Bi-Polar and I think my Grandpa was. I don't know how I get out of bed everyday either. I take my meds daily they seem to help take the edge off of either extreme depression or agitation or anxiety. I hope you feel better and try to keep your chin up.
