Are you on the regular or the XR?
What dose do you take?

I take Seroquel at night when I want to go to bed. You have to find the right dose for you. I take 100 mg at bed time. After a while the side effects lesson. You get less tired of course. I am on the regular not XR.

How long have you been on it? I know how you feel, I was on some meds that made me tired but I am sure your psychiatrist will work with you. Hugs

I am on the regular. I just keep taking it anyway, hoping it'll get better. I'm now switching to taking it at 7pm. If I have to go to bed at 9pm, so be it. I have to remember that not special. I have to just live with it. I'm bi polar and I have to take my meds. There is no option. There is no stamping my feet, holding my breath, throwing a fit and hoping things will change so I can irresponsibly stay up all night. So last night I just bit the bullet and took it at 7. This morning - up with no problems at 9am. Which used to be 12pm to 1pm. Just need to stay in this habit for at least 30 days.

I was on 800 mg of seroquel. Try lowering your dose. I didn't experience extremes
exhaustion with geodon. How long have you been on seroquel?

I never got over the sleepiness from seroquel. I had to stop taking it.

I'm not sure what your dosage is, but generally the way Seroquel works is as your mg's increase the sleepy side effects decrease. Docs usually RX between 25 mg - 100 mg for sleep, and RX 300 mg - 1200 mg for BiPolar. If you can make it through the lower doses to get up to your therapeutic dose, the sleepiness should go away. If you can get through that side effect, the stability it can help give you is good, and it doesn't tend to cause a lot of weight gain. Hang in there.

I've been on Seroquel and Lamictal for many years and still get very tired. I take vitamin B Complex on occasion and Red Bull, but you have to be careful it, can lead to mania. If it gets to that point, I'll take a Xanax I don't get that manic that much anymore. I guess I've gotten used to it

Hi. I'm on 100 of it and I do will I take it at 8 and up at 6-7 with no affects. I'm also on Lamictal and Latuda

I gave been in 50 mg for a long time they lowered me from 100 have u tried taking half and sometimes bi polar people just use it fir sleep at 50 mg I'm tired and have to be in the bed within 30 min I don't wake up feeling groggy unless I had to wake up before im used to

It is very sedating but the benefit of stabiluty is well worth it!!

I am taking 300 mgs at night and I do often feel groggy in the mornings but if I take it around 8 and try to go to bed by 9 I will sleep until about 7 and slowly but surely I am experiencing less and less grogginess when waking up. Glad you tried taking yours early and just gave in to an early bedtime. We have to take care of ourselves!

Well I am still having a hard time. I have a lot.of anxiety in my life due to a serious situation I'm dealing with, and sometimes I think I don't want to go to bed because who knows what will happen tomorrow? And I just don't want to face it.
