Seroquel induced tremor

I still need to see a neurologist but was wondering exactly how common seroquel induced tremor really is. Did you have any sort of shaking or involuntary muscle jerks while on it?
this has to of happened to someone else out there..

i take 400mg seroquel every night for sleep, and have raging anxiety for which i take 2mg ativan a day, then i also take 2mg cogentin/day for the tremors and twitches. In the past week they have gotten worse and none of my meds have changed. i can go up one more mg of the cogentin but not sure if dr will give me the OK. Last weekend during my daughter's 1st birthday i was trying to open the "1" candle and my friend said something about how bad i was shaking and opened it for me. I then realized my meds arent working or something is getting worse. I have an appointment thursday.

Dr. V just put me on Seroquel at 25 mg. I woke up with a severe anxiety attack, a migraine headache, and felt like a zombie all day. I tried one more time with the exact same symptoms. I don't like that med at all but we are all different. It's just not for me. Hugs GB

It's good you are seeing your Dr. He/she will be able to assess what's going on.

I took Seroquel years ago, but don't know if it caused tremors or not. I was also on other meds so I don't know what caused mine. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I had severe involuntary muscle movements.
So badly, that I would grimace and shrug in front of my customers...all involuntary . I was sent home from work...I stopped taking it shortly after that

I experienced the involuntary muscle movements when trying to slowly taper off Seroquel. Felt like a twitching drug addict. It was scary. Im so happy that im not dependent on any psychiatric medications at this point.

I've never used seroquel but I do have hand tremors from many years of using lithium. I'm using 1200 mg/day of B6 (in 300 mg portions) and it appears to be working.
