So I have to do a self referential self portrait painting for school and I'm kickin around the idea of a bipolar piece. anyone have any idea's insights?

You could do the classic two faces, do your profile but facing away from each other showing the two extremes of the illness?

How about yourself with an angel on one shoulder (a depressed angel) and a devil on the other (a manic devil)?

Or holding the scales of justice with mania on one side and depression on the other?

Maybe come at it from the angle of we *have* bipolar, not we *are* bipolar.
