Self doubt

I am reallllllly struggling with anxiety and self doubt. Even though my boss told me that I am doing a great job, all I can do is worry and fret. I can't relax. I am really trying hard to not think this way, I feel doomed.

In a case of self-doubt I find it helps to make a double list of liabilities and assets to see what we can change. I think a lot of self-doubt comes from the fear of failure and it helps to work on the obsessive nature of our thoughts that lead us to that. Believe people who say god things about you.

TC after you have been there a little longer and start to get more comfortable I think your self doubt will begin to fade. Just breathe through the hard times were the thoughts of self doubt intrude your mind.

I know they are lucky to have you as a employee, take care and believe in yourself we all do.

So sorry :( think of what youve accomplished and you are getting up everyday and going to work. I understand the anxiety and fear because i went through job lose too but if your boss is praising you already i think you found the right fit. Try to relax. Do something you enjoy to distract your mind of those fearfull thoughts hugs!!

Dont let you sabatoge you! That is something I am bad at. Whenever I am finally doing well and where I want to be I sabatoge myself becauee I dont believe I CAN be in a good place all the time or do a good job. Believe in yourself. You can do this.

To have your boss say you're doing a great job is an AMAZING thing! You ARE doing well -- You need to believe in you - and love gently. I think we are all self-critical to a point, but in excess it causes what you're experiencing - anxiety and worry and self-doubt. Just ride with it and see what happens. I agree with tommy -- "believe people who say good things about you". Sending big hugs your way. :)
