So I get to the court this morning and go up to the clerk to tell her I'm here for the hearing against my neighbor who attempted to murder me. Anywho, the clerk points out to me that the hearing date is MAY 14th not April 14th. *stupid look on face*

I have to wait an entire month.

This morning they locked him up for yelling at me through my wall "Come here you f***** b****, Oh that's right you're already dead!".

It's scary as all hell having a dagger against your face.

i am glad that he is being locked up - that should give you some peace of mind at least for the time being.

anyway, its better that you were there a month early rather than a month late! (that's what i'd be doing)

Can't you get a restraining order against him? Wouldn't he have to move out? Sorry you have to put up with this. It cant be easy to have him so close. If it were me I would have a gun under my pillow.

Hi, yes, I have a restraining order againstg me. He violated it yesterday by coming to my door again to harass me. Same shit, different day you know?

He'll be in the hospital a while. I hope he is out in time for court appointment next month.

Why is he allowed to still live next door its weird, l know this is pre trial but l thought he'd have to stay away especially if you had a court injunction against him its intimidation....l'd take self defense classes to feel safer if you know you can stop him if you had to perhaps you would feel a little less fearful....and yes l'd be sleeping with a weapon too.

The landlord was notified by police this morning and the landlord is evicting him.

My partner was a private detecttive at one time and has taught me some ways to stop him in his tracks if he attempts to attack me physically again. There are many vulnerable areas and I have a good kicker.

But, I still get scared even though I'm doing the self defense thing. I start to go into shock some I guess... I haven't had time to grasp everything that he's done yet. That reminds me I have to call the therapist today.

I'm a trained CRMA [certified residential medication aide , DSP [direct support professional] and Rape Crisis Advocate in my state. Those things come in very useful to me right now.
