Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I shared in another post the fact that I am starting “another” new job on Thursday of this week. I am so scared of what is going to happen if things don’t work out. I feel like I will have a nervous breakdown and become suicidal or something. I am TRYING hard to keep being positive and going into it with a “can do” attitude. I am feeling very nervous and anxious about it. I just really need something to work out so that I can get into a set routine. All of this stop and start has not been very good for my mental health.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

I wish you luck!

You made this post asking for emotional support. Yay you!!! Well done. Whacha gonna do to celebrate? My grandson has a new whoopie cushion he can loan you for a quick toot. . .
Gentle support while you work it out, TC. Keep us posted.
Anyhoo. I just wanted to post that I feel you, and just keep trying. Sometimes its not your fault, but the fault of an employer. There are really bad employers out there. Don't think of suicide though. Jobs are important, but not that important. I hope your new job works out for you.
I know it’s hard not to think about past experiences in this new one. I seem to get stuck with frustrating bosses each job, and other issues, and it feels like it repeats. But I work on confidence in my therapy, and work out ways to approach problems as best I can. Keep trying, keep trying.
