i am here but very lost.

I'm here. Finally got a stable password. I don't have a lot of criticism since I wouldn't know how to set things up.

Hey all! I'm previously MissSunshyne but lost my old email so made a new account.

I absolutely hate this new site. It's so hard to navigate. I hope it hasn't caused us to lose too many members.

well membership has gone from over 20,000 on the old site to 1,500. Alot will be old accounts but that does seem alot. Of course all boards are slowing, not just on DS either. It seems some aspects of the site are still being built - bit like selling a house people move in and then you say - yes we need to put the bathroom in. The kitchen doesn't work. And we'll get around to doing the roof sometime.

I'm here. I will now go back to lurking. :)

I'm here (Loddy). I had to change my name (I'm now Godsdaughter, but you can still call me Loddy). Still getting used to the new site. It's really something. DS has been an important part of my life for the past 8 years,so I won't give up on it. Have a nice day, all!

I just came in, I HATE the changes. Why can't they leave well enough alone. I hope that everyone from the old site is able to find their way here and find old friends waiting.

Could the colors be any more depressing? Shades of blue...gee, that's perky. I just hate the whole thing. It's not people friendly at all. Somebody must have been a slick salesman,
I hate to leave DS after 10 years...but this doesn't look promising at all. All I get is aggravated when I come on here.

It seems that they purposely destroyed a very wonderful site. I bet in 6 months membership will have dropped even more.

I've seen people on other boards are trying to get hold of the ShareCare directors. That will be interesting if they do that. I've asked DS management explain why they have ignored all the advice of CLs and members. I don't expect a reply but I think Dobie that you are right and I'm not sure how much longer DS will survive. They've made it like Facebook which doesn't work really as a support board but given a choice would you prefer a social media site that doesn't work or one that does. The ONLY thing is that DS is anonymous.

I'm reserving judgement on the new site until I get used to it. It usually takes me some time to adjust, then I know if I like it or not. I will say one thing, I tend to use different capitalization & punctuation for emphasis, and the site seems to be autocorrecting those. So I feel like part of my personality is gone. :(
