right knee swollen, can litheum do this?

My right knee is swollen. Took xrays at urgent care yesterday. Nothing could really show. Im in alot of pain feels like bone on bone.

I take litheum 1,000 mg. Could this some how effect or make this occur?

I would definately check with your pdoc. I had some joint swelling while taking it but it stopped when I quit the Lithium. You can retain water while on Lithium if you dont drink enough water, since it is a salt compound. Have you had your levels taken lately? Any other symptoms that might indicate poor kidney function?

I hate it when I have physical symptoms, get tons of tests, just to find out it is my meds or symptoms caused by my MI. I could have saved alot of time and money. Hope you figure it out. xo

Turned out to be do to getting hit by a car last year. Weird how things show up late.
