I was suspended after someone negligently lied, which got the blame for something placed on me. I'll admit, it was a pretty bad thing. Long story short it was said that I was notified something may be wrong and it was my responsibility to get it fixed. At the end of the day, it happened on my watch, so I'm responsible. They also blamed it on other habits of mine that probably led to me being distracted. I was initially written up, and then after misunderstanding inexplicit directions in the aftermath, I was given a final warning write up and week suspension.
Now I'm gearing up to return tonight. I am working to go on state disability hopefully, but I'm being treated by a nurse practicioner so we're trying to find someone who is willing to sign for it based on her notes. Until that happens, I just need to chug along and hope I don't get fired before I can get on disability. I am working on my bachelor's degree, so it's not like I'll be sitting at home doing nothing. I just can't flat out quit because I need the income. So...trying to hold out until I can get the disability go through, or wait for the inevitable firing to come and try to extend unemployment as long as possible.
My anxiety about this is very very high. I didn't do anything wrong, I'm still not sure exactly what happened in the first place. Yet because of other people lying people who were my work-friends and trusted me before now suddenly see me as dishonest, defiant, and untrustworthy. It's a very difficult reality to handle. Definitely exceeding the limits of my medication.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I hope things work out well for you.
To assure Disability , try and get in to see a Psychiatrist.... get a note from them outlining your limitations
Good luck
