Hi there! It's been a while. I've been online reading posts and stuff but I just couldn't find the words so... But i'm back. For now. Still in between diagnosis but MA has informed me I've been adopted into this crazy family so I'm here to stay mums and dads :-) Had therapy today and it was a lot different than usual. I could tell tdoc was trying to see why pdoc thinks i'm borderline. He says he needs to reevaluate me. Meh. Enough about me though. How've you all been? Anything new?

I'm glad the weather is finally cooling off, can't take the heat. I personally feel that the diagnosis is less important than getting proper treatment for our symptoms. Some docs seem to feel like there's some kind of magic and necessity to a diagnosis. Then some docs can't keep from messing with things when you're a new patient. They should be analyzed. Anyway, welcome back.

They think proper treatment should be the main focus too but they need to know what they're treating if they're gonna get the treatment right. Pdoc says maybe I need to go on anti-depressants soon but tdoc thinks I'm bipolar and I don't need to tell you how anti-depressants would not be a good idea if it turns out tdoc is right...

Hi iam, hope you get some answers soon. My input would be to not let them put you on a bunch of things at once...whatever you try first you'll know precisely if it's helping or not. If an AD is not right for you then you can know directly and move to an AP, for example. All the best to you...

Borderline and Bipolar have totally different treatments that's why it's important. Bipolar it's meds and Borderline it's therapy.

Important to the therapist too because the therapy they give and the context is totally different too.
