Hi all,
I have recently started taking 2.5mg of Saphris in the am and the pm. I'm dealing with several life changes and have not been dealing well. Well I went to a graduation out of town yesterday am and I forgot my Saphris when I took my other am meds. I was fine for a little while cuz the Ritalin was working. Later on though I began to crash and literally disintegrate.
When the ceremony was almost over I left for the bathroom. I just felt like I had to go outside and I stayed there till it was over. I would normally not do this. I was beginning to think something was wrong, but I couldn't put a finger on it. We went to the party at a restaurant and basically had to circulate around the room. I started to feel really really tense and had an over the edge type feeling. It was really weird but I was saying strange things to people. Not inappropriate but just weird. I honestly felt people looking at me strangely. I began to feel out of control. I just wanted to escape. I wanted to lay down or hide under the table. My whole body felt tense and I knew I was in a really bad way.
Finally we left and had to drive two hours home. On the way there I wanted to scream at my husband to stop somewhere and let me sleep. Even worse I felt like I wanted to go to the hospital for my increasingly obvious mental issues. My boys were in the backseat and I couldn't really get comfortable so I laid my body down between our seats and went into a fetal position while trying to cover my eyes and ears. When we got home I took my pm meds and after about two hours took my blood pressure and it was on the high side. I knew then that my pressure had to have been astronomically high during the day. I felt like I was having a mini breakdown!!! What was this? Anybody know? Thanks guys and sweet dreams~~Irish

Sorry! I forgot to add that I had a very hard time maintaining my mental health throughout the party and the drive home. I literally felt like I was dying mentally! I gathered enough grace through God to hold myself together so as not to embarrass my whole family or take away the happiness of my nieces graduation. On the way home my husband and boys knew something was wrong but I just tried to blow it off. I feel it was the strongest I've been in years! Please help me! ~~Irish

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
