Hi all am reaching out to everyone I had a drink problem iv been drink and drug free 11yrs but the gambling has killed me for 6yrs I can go to ga meeting its not for me theres nothink else now but I need ur help how can I stop I know wot it is I have a problem with me am over weight am lonely single I miss getting drunk going out hsving a laugh I have mental health problems I just dont know were to start I have lost it all I have nothink for my house I haven't payed my bills this month am so scared am in about 40 grand in dept am not happy I just want to change all this and you all have helped me before thank you for listening (Hug s)))))

re debts I think the citizen's advice bureau can help you.

While it's better to go and see them I do know in some rural districts where there isn't a CAB then they offer a phone call with an appropriate expert. I think they have alot of experience with debt.

I don't know of the resources locally available to you but start small, with baby steps, to connect with others to help. Make a to-do list each day and try to make a call or two each day. Wishing you well and sending some positivity your way.

make a list of all your creditors and try to contact each one and arrange a small payment that you can afford. they are usually happy once they see that you are making an effort.

i also echo what mark said about citizens advice. here in ireland we have a money advice bureau (mabs) so maybe there is a similar group in the uk. it is worth checking it out. good luck and keep us posted.
