Woke up raging this morning. Can't seem to get it under control.
My finances are in a state of flux from the recent purchase of a house, the move and several months of double mortgage. The sale on the old house closed this week. Should be good news. I have been rapid cycling from the excitement of it finally being over and the unfamiliar territory. Never done this before. Don't know how or when the dust will settle. For sure, there is no windfall coming in. We are rolling the proceeds directly into the new mortgage.
My 31 year old son has asked for over $800 just this week with talk of high dollar binging. It is pouring salt on open wounds. I can't even speculate because I honestly won't know the state of my finances until the digits finish percolating. Usually I know my budget a month or two in advance. He was not a total idiot when I countered the escalating frenzy with a blunt statement of the equity rollover. No big cash influx to spend. Get off it. Keep your white-trash economics off my bill desk.
Last night while I was painting on canvas, he started claiming I had ruined batches of his house painting with improper cleaning. I only remember a steady stream of my brushes disappearing altogether and coming back in pathetic shape, if they came back at all. Either way, it is in the halls of unverifiable history.
I lost it and screamed, "I don't like sharing with you, either, fuck off!"
He drove off in my car after calling me a psycho. The truer that is, the more it hurts. Wash your fingers before you waggle them in my wounds, jackass! I managed to get myself under control. Obviously the control was temporary. I woke up this morning in a rage and have been less than successful in quelling the visions of retribution.
