Quitting My Job- Ranting

I hate it now. It was never fun or very interesting but at one point I kinda liked it. Now I just hate it and it feels like it's sucking my energy. I don't want to go to work in the morning, I spend most of the time watching the clock and thinking about all the other things I could be doing instead of sitting here filing stuff and typing up timetables and all that boring crap. I knew I was never meant to sit around a desk doing this kinda work- there's so little room to be creative. I need creativity to survive. And let me not get started on the pay. They have been withholding my cheques for ages because apparently the school is broke. I literally have no reason to be here. I can't think of a single reason to stay. I want, more than anything right now, to just grab my bag and walk out.

Funny, the jobs I apply for are all Admin roles as that's all I have experience in. (voluntary, of course)

I have an interview on Monday Morning. Mondays are actually quite lucky for me as I was born on a Monday, I graduated from Uni on a Monday and I passed the Driving Test on a Monday.

I was born on a Monday too but I prefer Fridays. I think I'll be graduating from Uni on a Friday. Admin has never really been my thing. Despite my disorder what I really want to do is crisis management. I need that fast pace, new 'project' every day, on the go, 'life or death', think on your feet kinda job. Lol. I can't be on the same thing for too long unless I'm attacking it from a different angle. I get bored with stuff pretty easily. My ADHD maybe? Or is that the BPD coming out? Oh who cares

sorry.... having to work in a job you hate is awful.... I managed about 6 months in my last temp one.... then I just stopped turning up and they sacked me, lol!!!

I've been working here since March. It's time to leave. I'll mostly be doing assignments and chores this weekend. Work has left me with little time to do either.

yeah it's the pits when the weekend is taken with things that couldn't be done during the week... says the person who doesn't work... but for some reason I always leave it till the weekend.... habit I suppose from when I did work.. but this weekend is also reading weekend.... got to re-ignite the little grey cells a little bit more before I become a total divet indeed!!

I downloaded a bunch of books because I haven't been reading much lately. I used to be such a bookworm. I have to clean though I kinda like my mess- Mum's stopping by next Friday. She hates my mess

Ahh I hate my job too...I had to call in sick this week and now they want a doctors note. I called my GI doctor and he said since I was in the hospital on Monday that I have to get the note from the doctor from the hospital...makes me want to just quit my job and curl up and sleep forever

It might be worth looking into your legal rights since they can't and haven't been paying you.

I already told my bosses that Tuesday is my last day. This is insane. I just saw how much they owe me- $45,062.50 (JMD of course) Now for a part time worker out here that's a shit load of money.

I just looked it up, that's a few cents shy of $400 USD. I'd still look up legal stuff bc you deserve, and probably need, that money

I'll have to sit you down and have a chat about how crappy our economy is Desi. What I'm earning as a p/t worker is just a little below the minimum wage of a full time worker. It's really very sad. The minimum wage is $5,600 per week and I'm making $4,250. Welcome to the third world.

So it took arguing and complaining and threatening to get 1/4 of the money owed to me... And I got bribed to come repay the favour, their string pulling, by working extra hours. HA!
