I'm wondering why everything I read says you should not take Lexapro and trazodone together yet my p doc insisted it was ok. I shouldn't be dwelling on this but I ended up in the ER freaking out ( I think I was extremely manic) but I was also vomiting after I took them together so I think I have a right to question him.

Of course you can question your pdoc. Doctors have to be held accountable for their decisions and if you feel a wrong has been done, let your pdoc know.

Yes, you can question your pdoc but try to have your facts together about your symptoms (write them down if you have to, I do) and then also like Sunny said ask your pharmacist and you can get online and find out if these are possible side-effects. Everybody is so different even if the side effects your having do not indicate that it's your meds it still is possible it has affected you differently than anyone else.

Did the ER question that it could be med related when you told them what you were on? Good Luck Red!!
