Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

As for the Seroquel, it can take 3 - 6 weeks for your brain to become adjusted to a new Psych med, and your brain has the added duty of readjusting from an old one to a new one, it takes time. You're also on a very low dose of Seroquel, average therapeutic dose for BiPolar is between 300mg - 1200mg. Seroquel is not an Anti-anxiety med, it's an Anti-psychotic and it's job in a BiPolar cocktail is usually "mood stabilizer", depending what else your taking. You are very correct in that the added anxiety is probably from the zyprexa withdrawals. Your 13 days off of it, so restarting it just to taper off of it, most likely is not the best idea, your Pdoc should talk to you about that. You should be through the worst of the withdrawal phase and the Seroquel should start to kick in more and start to pick up the slack more, it's going to take some time. I hate to keep saying, you have to stick it out, because I know your telling me to fu** off, and I get it...it's just going to take time for your brain to adjust to the changes. I would keep trying to contact your Pdoc about a dose increase to get you clear of the drowsiness side effect and to get you closer to the range of where you need to be to get benefit from the Seroquel.
In the meantime try some different things for your Anxiety, Chamomile is good for calming anxiety, deep breathing exercises, relaxation exercises, journaling and pouring all the anxious thoughts out of your head and onto a Journal so they aren't stuck up there bugging you. Coloring, Zen Tangling, Sudoku, Word Puzzles....things to make your brain get busy and focus on something other than the anxiety. Just things to help in the meantime until you hear from your Dr. or the meds start working better for you.
Hang in there, your doing great.

It might be better then nausea though
If it were me and this isn't advise other then what I would do... I think I'd stay on 75 mg if it's working for bipolar until you can see a doctor .... If you can't see a pdoc for a while I'd make an appt to see your GP
If you're having effects that are troubling to you I would get into see your doc or a doc asap..... Gentle hug... You will find what's right for you.... Unfortunately it can take some time to get there.... Gentle hug.....xo
