I just don't know how to stand up for myself without sounding like a total B.
envelope n stamp n address book.
log dates n time that you had already worked ( provided child care )
and
log current date n time ( time in time out ).
Now on another pc of paper write dates n times of past due.
on another pc of paper write current date n time of arrival n departure of child.
make copy of both.
keep original n mail copies ( billings ) to her.
That should do it.
however if she insist on conflick. simply tell her that it's not up for disscusion n that bills speak for them self.
don't get suck into any attenp on her behalf of disfunk yadda about billing.
Many yrs ago I use to own a day care. I had a partner but I'm the person who mailed or handed out billings.
Business is just that.
Being that she pr planned to have child then child is financaally covered. as in she can afford a licensed day care service. Therefore she can afford to pay you for services rendored. I assume that you check going rates in your area inorder to know what to charge.
I also assume that you provide her w lower rate.
Next time take her lunch money, after all Her child has to eat, n she ( parent) won't die if she ( parent ) misses a meal. However I would have pk mother a peanutbutter n jelly sandw..
I will write a scheduled, that will help so neither of us forget.
and P.S... Why would I pack her mother a sandwich when I don't even have any bread in my house?
I had my laptop all packed up, all I needed to do was change my clothes because I had showered last night.
The little girl hadn't eaten yet and was in need of food and a nap (which she is taking now), so how could I just be like, "HEY I GOTTA GO TOO." With the mood the little girl is in, I would have got nothing done at school.
I'm already so far behind in school I don't know what to do with myself.
She did bring her daughter oatmeal and lunchables. But usually, she leaves nothing but one packet of oatmeal so I end up having to spend my money to take her out to lunch across the street from my apt. The walk to the store to get food is too long with her.
I'm just glad the little one is sleeping so I can be grumpy and not have it affect her.
