As you all already know, I am really struggling with depression due to my economic and work situation. I am working at a job making minimum wage. I don't even know how I am going to pay next months' bills. I have 40 bucks to last until December 23rd. I can't even afford to do laundry. This job I am working at is VERY hard. I am doing production work in a factory making disposable bags for tea dispensers. It is a job where I can sit (I have back and knee problems). It, however, is very hard on my arms because of repetitive motions for 7 hours a day. My wrists and hands just throb at the end of the shift. And that is the other thing....my shift is 3-11 pm It is throwing my sleep schedule and med schedule off, which is really bad for BP disorder. I am basically miserable all the way around. And if all that isn't enough, even during "better" times, Christmas time is a very hard time for me. It makes me feel so sad and alone.
*got married on December 23, 1995 and had a tubal pregnancy in early January 1996. I ended up divorcing in 1998. So Dec 23rd is a sharp reminder that I failed. Also, it reminds me of losing a child.
*i lost my Grandma and a Grandpa in December (not recently, but still makes holidays sad).
I am feeling really awful. There is no help for me. There aren't enough pills in a whole pharmacy to fix how I feel. I just feel hopeless and helpless.

Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though. I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Quick, before the evil MONday gets here! Let's climb those mountains, dance in the meadows, dip our feet in the ocean....Okay, so most of us won't be doing any of That. Sadly. But today can still be a great day!The area behind our back fence is on an incline, with less than two feet on even ground at the top. I don't balance well enough for the incline, but our mower guy mows that...

Constant repetitive motion..and I was never fast enough. After work, I was soaked..even my leather work boots..with sweat.
I was very, very unhappy. I know how your current job situation must be.
Can you maybe look at other temp agencies in your area? Maybe keep your search limited to office type work? Warehouses and factories are brutal as you probably know.
I currently work third shift security at a lubrication plant. Some days, depending on what they are making..the fumes are nasty. But I sit there and drink coffee, play with my phone..and walk around twice an hour around the company grounds.
Oh, I just had an idea. How about a job in security. They physically don't usually have to work hard. You will have to apply for a PERC card and wear a dorky uniform. I like night shifts because less people are there...
Just a thought. Sorry to hear about your feelings on the Christmas season....
hope you can find a better job situation soon....
I'm very sorry you have been through a lot a lot during the holidays. You are not a lone. Big hugs.
