Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Tell us how it goes. I’ve done a number of these.
Nothing invasive.... Do you know why you're having this done?....xo
I didn't argue which was pretty stupid but then again the doctors had me zonked with heavy doses of meds at the time. They changed the law in Australia soon after so that police are the first responders to anyone with a "nervous condition" that has a problem. This saved money sending out mental health workers from the hospitals. Nervous condition is noted on my drivers license record and code for mental condition. (Behind closed doors they refer to us as "nutjobs").
Lawyers, cops and doctors can be arrogant smart-asses can't they? Apologies for the language.
If I had my time over I would have asked the nurse what to say still but then consulted with my own doctor about the questionaire before I filled it in. So what if it takes a few days longer.
All the best.
