I'm lucky enough to have Medicaid cover all my prescriptions for free but I just got a letter saying that will change starting July 1st. I'm not sure exactly what I will be charged now. How do most of you struggling financially manage to pay for your meds?

The only way I can pay for my prescription drugs is by having insurance. If I quit my job like I so want to...I'd have no insurance. I wouldn't be able to afford the drugs I'm on. Right now I pay about 50 dollars a month....otherwise I'd be paying about 300 dollars a month. Sure, I could on my fianc insurance once were married in July, but still if I quit my job we'd be struggling even more!!
I have gone to the Mental Health Center before and they gave me samples of what they could and id struggle to get the rest.

I know where your at and Ive there....I hope all works out for you and you can find a way to afford your prescriptions.

I've had to change meds in the past because they were too expensive. I pretty much know now I can't take any new med on the market because the generics aren't available yet.

Ask for samples if you need to. My pdocs have always had tons of them around.
