Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I am a person who doesn't really have anyone to say things to or to share things or mirror things. I often tell a co-worker what is going on and they judge.
I live in an area where people live very strict lives.
I have a few social groups which validate me and help me to feel like an okay human being (what they are isn't really relevant, just that they exist).
There is some sort of disconnect though because I often seek Facebook and I know that this cannot be good.
Is there any way to break free from ego? Is there a better way to get needs met in a way that is not destructive or rude?

I love what everyone has brought up. Sometimes I think learning to be a good listener and encompassing empathy helps to 'share the load' with struggles we all have in this life together.
