Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
my sleep schedule got majorly messed up sometime around October and then when I got sick a couple weeks ago it made it much worse. So today I decided to go ahead and get out of bed on time and it was definitely hard. Hopefully the poor sleep schedule is what has contributed to my depression and after a couple weeks of being back on track I will feel better. Oh by the way Thanksgiving with the family went great as well as game day so I’m very relieved and thankful for that. I am going to also do something unnerving that I haven’t done in awhile and that is attend church this coming Sunday. Scary place for me to be honest but I’m not gonna let a couple bullies scare me off where their is overall good people. I have abandonment issues and I am very sensitive to rejection so I am gonna just shrug off those who don’t accept me and realize it is not me it is them. I am going to start counseling with the counseling minister next week about how to deal with this. He is also a counselor at a mental health clinic around here so he does have an actual counseling degree. So fingers crossed I will make some progress instead of hiding from the world.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

As far as you sleep goes it’s always best to make a schedule and stick to it. I have never had success doing that.
