The last pet that lived in this household was the dog we bought for my daughter when she was 7.
Since it was her dog, she got to name her.

That's how we ended up owning a dog named 'Frisky'.

(It could have been worse. Frisky had a big 'spot' on her.)

I had a million cats over the years!!
The last two I owned were named 'Honey Pie', from the Beatles' White Album and Babycakes, because that's what my then husband used to call me.

They ended up being 'Cakes' and 'Pie'.

One of the cats we had when I was growing up was named Geboscus Congus Birdbelly III.

Then, in the early 70's, we had a dog that made the backyard look like an elephant's toilet!!!!

My politically inclined mother named him 'Spiro', cuz he was full of shit.

My current dog is Phoebe. Mostly we call her Phoebs. But she is also known as Phoebalicious, Phoebalieb, Dog, and Little Girl. (Even though she is almost 70 lbs. And will get bigger as she is not quite a year old... It's what I called her when she was tiny and it stuck.)

I had a Josephine who was Jojo, Josie, Josie Bean, Jojo Bean, and Bean Bean. Funny how that evolved.

I also had a Dirty Nelly who was always called Nelly Belly.

My Pits name is Mora - we call her Little Baby, Baby Girl, Nalgudilla (big butt cheeks in Spanish), Dingu, Chupa Chups (a Spanish Lollypop name).

all I have are hermit crabs and I call them pretty much what we named them.
