Okay so there is a fellow member here that is also my best friend..Gee I wonder who that could be...LOL As many know she is on a very fixed income and has had some really poor luck in recent months.
Two weeks ago her home was broken into and her rent month was stolen. So last weekend I decided to put a chip-in up on my Facebook page to see if some people would help her out with rent.
This is where people amaze me comes in. We needed 600 dollars and so far we have in our hands $240 and some more coming through the mail. Yesterday she had someone she didn't know at all donate $100. We are still working hard to get the money up and I won't give up yet.
With all the bad things going on in the world and the wickedness people show day in and day out, it is things like this make me smile and allows the good ones to show through the bad ones.
Just for the record this isn't a request for money or asking anyone to help out, but just something that made me smile and I am hoping to do the same for some of you out there.

I gots the best friend(s) in the world and all are jealous - as they should be :)
We have had 3 break ins in the area. All the robbers went to the "master" bedroom and just rifled thru every thing and took anything that looked like jewerly, coins cash, ipods etc. The police said they were probably inand out in 10 minutes.
My son has been robbed. He keeps his money in a zipped inside pocket of an old ski parka in the hall closet. They didnt get it.
I am glad pp are giving to your friends.
On a much smaller scale this happened to me for a phone bill (before cell phones) many many maany years ago.'
