I got a call on Friday off my pdocs office about an appointment. I assumed it was one I already had when she told me it was an emergency appointment at pdocs request.

Has anyone ever had this? My appointment is in 20 minutes and I'm a little worried

It may be that he hadn't been able to make an appointment as soon after the last one as he would have liked and a cancellation has opened up and thus he wants to see you. That's all I can think of. Post back to us to let us know how you go.

It's hard to understand this one....at the pdocs beck and call....could we all be so blessed?

Never heard of this..unless some blood work came back , that indicated some liver or kidney malfucntion.

Chelle - I wouldn't worry about it. I had it happen when my pdoc was planning to go out due to surgery. He wanted to be sure he saw me before he was out for a month.

Thanks for all your replies. Turns out it was nothing to worry about. I had a pdoc appointment 2 weeks ago and he sent a new prescription to my GP which they were unsure of, due to my kidney problems, he wanted to clarify dosage etc with me and talk through signs and symptoms to look out for. So everything was fine :)

So DancingD guessed right. It was about your blood tests and overlapping and or caused by the med issues. Glad you figured it out.
