It's very easy for us to alienate those around us, because of our nature. We have to try to Fight our nature with those we love, as best we can, so they will feel needed, appreciated and loved.

It is human instinct to move away from hurtful people; sadly, often the hurtful people are US.

I'm a little scared to write this because I'll have to admit it to myself. So, I told my extended family-after an extended absence by me- about my BP. They all seem to be steering clear of me ever since.
I guess you are right, they do take the piss.

There's very few that I've tried to get rid of intentionally, but much of the problem is mine. Some leave and some stay. The ones that stay understand and I treasure them for being true friends.
You don't want to get rid of everybody, do you?

I have lost several friends, partners and more due to my BP. I do however treasure the ones that have hung in there and are still there for me. I know who my true, real friends are and I am grateful bc half of the time it was my fault that they left.
