I feel horrible. My neighbor came over to visit me a few minutes ago and we were chatting. She's a bit nosy but usually I just avoid those questions and everything is fine. After she left I realized I shared way to much information with her about some personal things. I'm having relationship issues and I talked to her about it which I (now) feel like I shouldn't have done. It isn't her business and if my boyfriend finds out he won't be happy with me. It's like it all just came pouring out of my mouth before I even thought about it. I feel completely embarrassed and ashamed of myself. Maybe I'm over reacting to the whole situation, maybe not, I don't know. Usually this is a sign that I'm losing control of an episode. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to handle it other than avoiding people until my upcoming pdoc appt?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

usually when my mind is stressed too much it just comes out i think when i get like that i have to take it really easy for a while or talk to someone about it
i don't like it either
On here I still have the same problem. I share Way too much on posts, etc. My defenses are still down here; also, I am "thinking" about bipolar, and about my problems, etc when I am here.
In real life I have learned to tell Much less about what's going on in my life...however, I am 46 years old, and I feel I have Just Recently gotten a handle on that...in the last several years only.
It takes Lots of practice, stuckathome, but if you have to interact with someone when you are distracted by your personal situation - like with your neighbor - maybe you can practice focusing on them only, while you are with them - ask questions about them, and steer them away from any questions they may ask about you -
If that doesn't work, try telling them you left the stove on and need to check what's in it??
*hugs*
Now, I don't worry so much about it. I try and keep the problems to myself, but I don't worry if I joke and talk so much. Who knows, maybe I managed to brighten someone's day?
That's my motto....I blab to everyone...and I often feel like a complete fool after wards....I mean REALLY...did the bag boy at the grocers need to know about my hypersexual episodes.......OMG...I'm in my late 50's .........he was probably grossed out !
I think a lot of us get blabby sometimes.
Sorry you over-shared though. I think we've all done that and regretted it.
((hugs)) Crystal
